Valentine Esteve
Valentine Esteve (1996, France) is a multidisciplinary French artist interested in the exploration and contemplation of the city. Trained at the Atelier de Sèvres between 2013 and 2015, she then enrolled at the Beaux-Arts de Paris. During her studies, she completed a stay in South Korea at Korea National University (Seoul, 2019), which allowed her to continue her explorations of urban public space.

An artist of matter and touch, Valentine Esteve transforms what she observes in the street into artistic creation. She reactivates her memories and her personal relationship with the places she goes through in each work she develops. Using images in series, she reproduces the different stages of looking and discovering what attracts her attention.

For her, the city has its own time, a short time that fades quickly. With her work, she restores a temporality to it: that of the walker who inhabits the space, who goes nowhere.
Valentine Esteve has had group and solo exhibitions in France (Beaux-Arts de Paris, Galerie Salon H, Residence in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence) and in Seoul (K'Arts).
